Glowu ("the App") is operated by GLOBALHASHTAG and is built with a privacy-first philosophy. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum information necessary to operate and improve the App.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Glowu mobile application and explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, Glowu may collect the following information:

a. Account & Authentication Information

If you choose to sign in using third-party authentication services such as Google or Apple, we may receive:

  • An email address
  • A platform-provided user ID

This information is used solely for authentication and account management purposes.

b. User-Provided Content

Images or other content you voluntarily upload to use AI-powered features (e.g., Fit Check, Dream Shoot).

User-uploaded photos are processed temporarily and are not stored on Glowu servers or in the cloud.

c. Usage & Device Information

  • Basic app usage data
  • Device type and operating system version

This information is used only to ensure app stability, performance, and compatibility.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government-issued IDs, precise location data, phone numbers, or payment card information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Glowu uses collected information only to:
  • Provide AI-powered style and beauty features
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts
  • Process images temporarily for requested functionality
  • Manage subscriptions and credit balances
  • Improve app reliability, security, and user experience

Glowu does not use personal data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or AI model training.

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

Glowu uses trusted third-party service providers to operate core functionality, including:

  • AI processing services (to generate requested results)
  • Firebase services provided by Google (authentication, database services, and performance monitoring)
These providers process data on our behalf and solely for app functionality.
  • User photos are processed temporarily
  • Personal data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising or marketing
  • We do not allow third parties to use your data for their own purposes

5. Payments & Subscriptions

All payments and subscriptions are processed by the respective platform providers:

  • Google Play Store
  • Apple App Store

Glowu does not collect, store, or process payment card details or billing information.

We may store:
  • Subscription status
  • Credit balances

This information is used only to manage access to paid features.

6. Data Storage & Retention

  • User-uploaded images and AI-generated results are stored locally on your device
  • Glowu does not store personal data on its own servers or in the cloud
  • Data remains on your device until you choose to delete it
  • Deleting the App removes all locally stored data

Temporary data used during AI processing is deleted immediately after processing is completed.

7. Data Security

Glowu applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. While no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we take data protection seriously and limit processing to what is strictly necessary.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:
  • Request information about how your data is handled
  • Delete locally stored content at any time
  • Contact us with questions or concerns regarding privacy

Glowu is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Glowu is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in accordance with U.S. laws.
